Philip Walton is a long-standing figure in web development, open-source advocacy, and digital security solutions. As the owner of SoftForge Ltd, based in Gravesend, Kent, Philip has established himself at the forefront of creating innovative digital solutions, with a particular focus on security.

With a background in programming and electronics in the 1970s while at school, Philip moved into other fields before coming back to computing full-time at the start of the internet. 

First, as a sole trader in the pioneer days of the Internet Philip worked with a small group of UCL graduates before becoming a co-founder of SoftForge Ltd

SoftForge, incorporated in 2008, has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality software solutions across various sectors, with a notable emphasis on security, crime prevention, and cyber resilience.
